Certification

Neutronian Certification provides verification of data quality and compliance.

The Neutronian Quality Index framework defines our comprehensive definition of data quality. This framework covers five main categories of data quality:

AUDIT CATEGORYEXAMPLES OF ASPECTS COVERED
CONSENT & COMPLIANCE
  • Consent standards and opt-in/out process
  • Privacy and compliance disclosures (ex. GDPR, CCPA, FLA/FCRA, etc.)
SOURCING TRANSPARENCY
  • Data sources and data capture mechanisms
  • Transparency of data sources and data use details internally and externally
DATASET CHARACTERISTICS
  • Type(s) of dataset – deterministic and/or modeled
  • Data cleansing practices – de-duplication, removal of fraudulent data, etc.
METHODOLOGY & PROCESSING
  • Data processing and retention controls
  • Statistical methodology utilization – modeling, weighting, etc.
PERFORMANCE
  • Methods used to evaluate data accuracy and performance
  • Frequency of evaluating data performance

Data providers that meet baseline criteria receive Neutronian certification that marketers the use to guide buying decisions.

Certification types

GENERAL CERTIFICATION

  • Deep dive across all 5 categories of the Neutronian Data Quality Framework
  • Provides a path for remediation for providers that do not meet baseline criteria in all areas

COOKIELESS CERTIFICATION

  • Added layer of verification to confirm that a dataset is “future proofed” for the depreciation of 3rd party cookies
  • Provides a path towards remediation for providers that are not yet cookieless ready

Use cases

Increase data quality

  • What are the best, high quality datasets that I can leverage?
  • Are there any data quality or compliance concerns with my datasets that I should be aware of?

Shorten test periods

  • Can I leverage an existing certification as a baseline to shorten my data vetting processes?
  • How can I achieve a comprehensive understanding of data quality from consent to performance?

Navigate industry changes

  • How can I confirm that a dataset is not reliant on third party cookies?
  • How do I identify new datasets that are future-proofed for the depreciation of third party cookies?

Mitigate risk

  • How can I monitor data sources to ensure they are collecting consent and handling opt-outs appropriately?
  • Can I receive alerts when an inventory or data source makes updates that impacts compliance requirements?

Key benefits

Marketers & Brands

  • Leverage a standard to verify the quality and compliance of the datasets that you are currently using
  • Save time by utilizing Neutronian as your initial data vetting process, taking the burden of this effort off of your team

Data Providers

  • Build trust with data buyers by demonstrating the quality and compliance of your data with Neutronian certification
  • Shorten sales cycles and buyer data vetting processes by having already completed independent data certification

Technology & Data Platforms

  • Leverage a standard to verify the quality and compliance of the datasets in your platform
  • Save time but utilizing Neutronian as your initial data vetting process, taking the burden of this effort off of your team
